Trademark Class 20 - Furniture & Plastic Goods
Goods and
services are both eligible for trademark registration
online. Goods and services are divided into 45 trademark classes for the
trademark registration process. Among these classes, the trademark registration
for furniture companies is done under trademark class 20.
Before
filing an application, it is critical to determine the trademark class, as
registering a trademark or name under a specific class only offers protection
for that category. If a trademark is used for products and services in distinct
classes, separate applications must be filed for each class to get trademark
protection for the goods and services in question.
What is trademark class 20?
While
applying for trademark registration online, you have to choose the class of a
trademark. In other words, the trademark authority has categorized goods and
services into various trademark classes. One of which is trademark class 20.

Trademark Registration Online Process
Step 1 - Under trademark legislation, the complete range of
goods and services is divided into 45 groups. The applicant must choose the
appropriate and relevant class for the trademark registration online.
Step 2 - Application for a Trademark: Once the categorization is complete,
an application should be sent to the Trademark Registry with all required
information, including the applicant's name and permanent address.
Step 3 - Examining Your Application: The trademark application will be
verified by the TM register to see if it fits the requirements. Following the
completion of the Formality Check, the trademark application will be examined
by the TM Registry.
Step 4 - Trademark Publication: The information of Mark will
be advertised in the Trademark Journal once the trademark is granted by the TM
Registry. Anyone who has an objection to the registration of a trademark may
file a Notice of Opposition with the Trade Marks Registry on Form TM-O within
four months after the date of publication of the Journal, together with the
required fee.
Step 5 - Trademark registration
online: The TM register will provide a certificate of TM Registration to the
applicant four months after the date of publication in the magazine.
